ABOUT SIBULO'S SCOOP
Sibulo's Scoop is dedicated to providing stories on the Bay Area. From politics to education to arts & culture, it features written articles, multimedia and live-to-tape interviews by Paula Sibulo.

Paula is an award-winning journalist whose work has received national recognition from Best of SNO and the Society of Professional Journalists' NorCal chapter.

Raised in Marietta, Ohio, she frequently visited her local TV news station, sparking an interest in the fast-paced environment of a newsroom. During high school, Paula relocated to California and served as a reporter and social media director for the student-run broadcast news program, Wolfpack TV. As a news intern at ABC8/FOX11, Paula covered the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia.
Paula served as the editor-in-chief of San Francisco State University's student-run newspaper, Golden Gate Xpress, for two consecutive terms and studied Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) and journalism. Today, she reports on the Bay Area for San Francisco's KQED.
