ABOUT SIBULO'S SCOOP

Sibulo's Scoop is dedicated to providing stories on the San Francisco community, uncovering the tales of spirited locals and celebrating the unique culture of the city. It features articles and interviews by Paula Sibulo.

Paula is an award-winning journalist whose work has received national recognition from Best of SNO.

Raised in Marietta, Ohio, she frequently visited her local TV news station, WTAP, sparking her passion in journalism and storytelling. During high school, Paula relocated to California and served as a reporter and social media director for the student-run broadcast news program, Wolfpack TV. As a news intern at ABC8/FOX11, Paula covered the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia, last summer.

 

Paula is the editor-in-chief of San Francisco State University's student-run newspaper, the Golden Gate Xpress, and is studying Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) and journalism. She plans to graduate with her bachelor's degree in May 2026.
