Airports in the Bay Area are still running smoothly despite the ongoing Department of Homeland Security shutdown, which is causing Transportation Security Administration staffing shortages across the country.
The Oakland Police Department identified a 25-year-old man as the second person dead from a mass shooting at a downtown bar Saturday morning.
News reports and people who reviewed footage of the incident said the man, Markise Martin, may have been one of the shooters in the incident that also killed San Pablo school teacher 33-year-old Latetia Bobo.
